Sports & Soft Tissue Injury Rehabilitation

What is a Soft Tissue Injury?

Soft tissues refers to muscles, ligaments and tendons. A soft tissue injury can be due to trauma, sprains, strains, repetitive movements, postural and any insult to the tissue due to abnormal load or movement. It can be either an acute injury or an overuse injury depending on the mechanism and when the symptoms started.

Soft tissue injury treatment is a multi-faceted approach. Using the PEACE and LOVE (see below for the full description) acronym, we will guide you back to achieving your goal. Treatments may include manual therapy techniques, motor skills training and specific exercises to strengthen and mobilise affected soft tissues.
